“Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end.
But it is perhaps, the end of the beginning.” - Winston Churchill
Two weeks from now I will embark on the journey that will bring me to the end of my career as a graduate student at Lesley University. It is an odd feeling to know that I will soon be constructing and testing my hypothesis about the application of theater as a medium for bullying prevention and intervention. I am excited and at the same time amazed that the time has gone so quickly. Gone are the days of ‘in theory’ and here are the days of putting my thoughts to practice.
The excitement of graduating and finding myself a full time teacher again is the greatest motivating factor in the completion of my research. I cannot wait to be in a position where I can motivate my students and teach them not only about theater, but about imagination, creativity, integrity and passion for life and learning. It is with this thought that I end this little blog and head off to begin reading the mass of literature I have accumulated over the past year and a half!
