Just Jag
With more than 10 years experience on stage and behind the scenes, Lindsay “Jag” Jagodowski uses theater as a creative outlet, a teaching tool and a vehicle for change. She is an artist-educator, dedicated to inspiring young minds.
Jag has been performing since she was a child, both singing and acting. In high school, Jag was part of an award-winning acting troupe that traveled throughout North America to perform everything from children’s theater to more serious pieces raising awareness of issues facing teenagers.
Over the years, she has been involved with more than 40 productions, taking on roles ranging from female lead, stage manager and director to tech crew, hair, make-up, costumes, props and set building. She began acting professionally at the age of 20 and served as a modeling coach in Boston.
Her passion for theater lends itself to a concentration in education, both for herself and others. A graduate of Smith College, Jag has earned her bachelor’s in theater with a minor in philosophy, and is working towards her master’s of education with a concentration in community arts from Lesley University. She has taught theater at independent schools in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Virginia, including Phillips Exeter Academy and Saint Stephen's & Saint Agnes School. Her research focuses on the applications of theater for bullying prevention and intervention, as well as the developmental benefits of theater in cognitive and social skills.
